I am a qualified and registered Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor working in Stoke Newington (Hackney), N16 and in Islington N1 (Highbury Corner).
I imagine that you are feeling something that isn't good, and that you would like to feel better. You may be suffering from low self-esteem, or you may be sad, angry, low, lonely or something else. Sometimes we don?t have the words to describe what we are feeling, although we do know we want it to stop.
My experience has shown me that talking through these things with someone trained to hear them in a particular way can often be hugely helpful. It won't ?cure? you, and certainly cannot erase a painful past, but it can equip you to move on with greater ease, and even with a greater potential for further positive change.
As well as my private practice, I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist for a counselling service in Newham. I have worked as a psychotherapist for the NHS, and a counsellor and assessor at a University Counselling Service. I am a full member of the BACP and registered with the UKCP.
I have a particular interest and experience in working with women who have experienced a loss in pregnancy or a struggle with fertility. I am involved with the work with the Miscarriage Association, and am a member of BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association).
