Caregos Charity Celebrity Event at Koywood Art Gallery
Caregos will showcase their Spring/Summer 2008 collection at the Kooywood Art Gallery, 8 Museum Place, Cardiff, on the 9th of July starting at 7pm.
They have combined the evening with charity fundraising, and have asked 15 Welsh celebrities, including women who have achieved in their particular fields, to design a necklace in their favourite style or colour, or with their chosen charity as inspiration.
The celebrity designers include the following four celebrities who have decided to make George Thomas Hospice Care one of their nominated charities:-
* Andrea Benfield (ITV Wales News anchor-woman) -
* Alex Jones (glamorous presenter of Planed Plant )-
* Catrin Finch (world reknown harpist) -
* Sian Lloyd (glamorous BBC Wales News-Anchorwoman) -
During the exhibition canapes wines (subject to availability).& handmade, individual, designer cakes will be provided whilstJemima Phillips will perform for guests during the evening.
Tickets can be purchased from all the nominated charities, including George Thomas Hospice Care,.giving ticket holders a chance to win one of the celebrity designed pieces of jewellery.
There will also be wonderful prizes to be won from Welsh craftspeople such as handbag designers, handmade felt corsages and a free style session courtesy of, 'The Style Team'.
