VILLA TIGLIO is a welcoming spacious building once served as the farm's oil mill but now offering comfortable, traditional holiday accommodation for 8-10 guests.

The house enjoys a wonderful panoramic view and has a private garden and its own swimming pool (8x4m). Part of a holiday complex of renovated farmhouses, it is set in terraced olive groves, vineyards and forest on a hill between Lucca and the seaside. The farmhouse has been lovingly decorated and furnished: from the marble floor of the living room to the original ceiling beams lending an old-fashioned sense of luxury. Furniture is comfortable and stylish, and has been selected to complement the surroundings.

GROUND FLOOR: living/dining room with open fireplace, kitchen (cooker, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher), service room (washing machine and WC).
UPPER FLOOR: Stylish sleeping accommodation with parquet flooring: two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms (shower and WC).


THE HOLIDAY COMPLEX

The holiday complex where VILLA TIGLIO is, was once a farm and today offers holiday accommodation for rent in northern Tuscany, near the sea. With a magical setting in the wooded hills between Lucca and the beaches of Versilia, this extensive property consists of the main villa (occupied by the owners) and various farmhouses, cottages and apartments for rent. The buildings are 5 in total on the same grounds, for up to 24 guests or more.

The farmhouses - once working farm buildings - have been restored using traditional, local materials to maintain an authentic, old-fashioned atmosphere. The walls are painted with a pale wash which lightens the rooms and lends a counterpoint to the warm colours of terracotta, stone and chestnut. The property has a large (12x8m) communal swimming pool with a solarium in stone and terracotta, and is furnished so that our guests can relax in the open air and enjoy the marvellous panoramas. (Please note: TIGLIO and CASOLARE have their own private pools, while the other three villas can access the shared swimming pool of the farm). Each of the holiday houses and cottages has a private, furnished garden and guests have common use of a laundry room and an utility room for bikes.

LOCATION
The holiday farmhouse complex lies in the hills above the village of Monsagrati, about halfway between the fascinating walled city of Lucca (15km) and the long, sandy beaches of the Versilian Riviera (20km) in Tuscany. Pisa, with its international airport and Leaning Tower, is 30km away.

Lucca's excellent rail and motorway links mean that you can make easy day trips to such attractions as Pisa, Florence, Forte dei Marmi in the Versilia and the Cinque Terre in the Liguria region.
